Getting Your Password

Once you have decided to sign up for a membership site you will be eager to check out the membership area. You will usually be emailed or provided online a user name and password which will allow you to enter the protected members area. Most sites will have a link on the free tour for "Members" that when clicked on will prompt you for your user name and password.

Do not share you password or post it in an publicly available place on the Internet. There is quite an active market for the trading of working passwords so you will want to keep it secure as if it gets out and people start using it the site owner will probably cancel your membership.

Content Location

Once inside the members area, look for how content is organized and accessed. Usually there will be a menu or other similar navigation that will enable you to access categorized content such as videos, photos, live shows, chat and more. You will really need to explore all the links to find out what is really provided. For example there may only be a few links but each one opens up a page with dozens more or there may be allot of initial links but when clicked on each leads to a page with very little content.

Update Frequency

To keep members from canceling a good site will add content frequently. Often there will be a designated area for newly added content or content that is just labeled as newly added. Also keep an eye out for special events or live shows. Any of such is a indication that the site owner is active in maintaining the site and keeping the members entertained.

Upsells

Sometimes membership areas have what are called "upsells". These are advertisements in the members area for additional services not included in the regular membership price. For example, the site may provide live cams of adult models to all paid members. An upsell may be a service where you pay extra to chat with one of the models on the live cam or go into a private show with them.

Video Players

Often you will need a video player to view the video content the site offers. It is a good idea to upgrade to the latest player version before trying to view any of the video content to insure the smoothest playback experience. Two of the most popular video players used are Windows Media Player and Real Player, both of which can be downloaded for free.
